BRING A FRIEND FOR FEBRUARY!

BRING A FRIEND MONTH! – Please feel free to bring a friend or family member to any training session or class during February. In return for every friend or family member that joins in with one of our sessions/classes you will receive a COMPLIMENTRY training session with a coach!

When you think about people that you might want to come as aguest, keep these ideas in mind:

1. People you work with.
2. Friends listed in your mobile phone.
3. Neighbours.
4. People you know from your hobbies and other interest.
5. Family members.
6. People you do business with.
7. Friends on facebook and other websites.

Hopefully, this will jog your memory a little. If you just spend a few minutes
thinking about it, I'm sure you'll come up with quite a few people you know who
would like to experience all the benefits that you've experienced from working
with us.

Simply, just ask us for a couple Referral Forms to help you jot down the people you think of who might be interested in finding out more about my services. Feel free to make more copies of the Referral Forms if needed, or you can just use a regular sheet of paper. REMEMBER THE MORE FRIENDS AND FAMILY THE MORE SESSIONS IN RETURN!

Thank YOU for your help!

Excuses Excuses!

The best excuses we’ve heard for not getting in shape and why these excuses don’t work...

I just don’t have the time...

How did you have the time to get out of shape? Getting out of shape requires almost as much time as getting in shape. The average person gains a steady pound a year as they get past 30, or extra 10 pounds per decade and the average TV is on 7.5 hours a day in a typical home. Sitting in front of the TV eating a few extra calories can slowly lead to that added weight you don’t want. If you have the time to do nothing, don’t you have the time to do something and get into shape?

I cannot afford it...

Fitness is approximately £3.20 per day to workout at Results Weight Loss (this includes unlimited classes too, as well nutritional and educational mastermind groups and much more). Snacks, junk food, just one meal out less a month, a few less sky channels, will help to pay for a personal membership. Can’t afford it? Are you telling us your health is less important than the daily cream cake and coffee?

I need to check with my partner...

What partner wouldn’t want you to get in to better shape? You feel better, you look better, you want to do more things. Your sex life is better, you can keep up with your children and you are more fun to be around when you’re feeling good about yourself. Go ahead, ask your partner if its ok to get healthy and change your life.

I am looking around now for a gym and I plan to get started next Monday or next month after...

After what? There is always another ‘after’ coming in your life. When is your health going to move up the list and become more important? Wait a month and you are just another month out of shape. Get started now and month on you’re a few pounds or even two jeans sizes less and are fitting just fine!

Don’t delay your body fabulous by one more day. Quit the excuses and sign up to our 6week skinny jeans challenge. Starts Monday 1st February 2010. We currently have ONLY 4 PLACES LEFT! Contact us urgently to secure a place. We have no doubt these places will fill up. This newsletter alone is going to over 4000 people. SIGN UP HERE!

Are you being trained or coached?

Are you being trained or coached?

Personal Trainer = someone who works with a client to plan or implement an exercise or fitness program.

Coach = someone who gives instruction, advice or direction.

As defined by Webster’s Dictionary.

Much has been discussed about my use of the term ‘Coach’ in favour or the word ‘Trainer’ when describing myself and our coaches.

And I have been asked many times why I have such a strong inclination towards the one versus the other.

Re-read the definitions above and you should be able to figure it out for yourself.

The Art of Coaching information I provide in our coaches operational manual is both a great source of pride for us here at the Results Weight Loss, but also serves as a strong differentiating factor in terms of our company versus other personal training companies in this industry.

Programming, training, exercise selection…

These are the sciences of our work.

Communication, coaching and instruction…

These are the arts.

Understanding how to reach each and every one of your member’s goals in a manner that they will hear and respond to is perhaps the single greatest challenge facing personal trainers.

We must be chameleon. We must accept the fact that understanding the specifics associated with learning and communication are every bit as important, maybe more so, than creating and implementing effective and developmentally-sound training programs.

Our staff are not trainers

Our staff are coaches.

Our staff are mentors.

We prepare my our members for the greatest results, in life and in every capacity possible.

We become a friend. A shoulder to cry on when need be.

I espouse the importance of education, school and how to value a strong,
connected relationship with family.

A recent and very memorable moment this past year was seeing Kerrie, one of our members being interviewed by a national magazine about her past year and health.

Under a year ago, Kerrie decided to take action and join our Skinny Jeans Challenge.

She was passionate, happy and very much a forward positive person back then.

And she still is today.

Kerrie recently appeared in the magazine.

Now our coaches take no credit for the extraordinary woman Kerrie has become.

But our coaches never ‘trained’ her.

We very much coached and mentored her.

And when she shown me this article and she mentioned
of her journey we were one of many that helped with her life, it made me smile with pride.

Training your clients can get the job done.

But Coaching them will have an impact on their lives forever.

And ours.

To see the article please go here It was actually the Top Sante Magazine.

So the questions is 'are you being trained or coached?'

Added Benefits For Being A Results Weight Loss Member

First, we want to say what an absolute pleasure it has been being part of your journey, and getting to know you, over the past year as a Results Weight Loss Member. We want you to know how much we truly appreciate knowing you and value your friendship.

The demand for our services has surpassed the amount we anticipated (a good problem to have) and as you know we are big on improving our standards year after year. Because of this we must make some changes. As of January 2010(our last month at Greens Health and Fitness) we are discontinuing our basic coaching and will be offering much more value to what you are already receiving as a Results Weight Loss Member.

What does this mean to you? It’s simple.

#1 – Absolutely nothing will change with your membership price or option (though these will be going up for new members) as you know we honour the deals we made and appreciate you referring people and spreading the word about Results Weight Loss. This is our philosophy with our members that continue to be loyal.
You can continue at your membership price for as long as you stay current as a member of Results Weight Loss. (This will no longer be offered so you are VERY SPECIAL)

#2 – As of February we will be putting on a minimum of 10 new group classes. Please refer to website for times and schedules. There will be a booking requirement in advance.

#3 – Mastermind seminars. One week of every month we will be putting on member topic/educational/FAQ/feedback seminars. Any topics that you would like to see in these seminars please let us know. We will keep you updated on scheduled seminars.

#4 – Constant Attention to your needs and wants questionnaire before the end of each program and nutrition phase (Approx every 4 weeks). This will be questions as regards to progress, the workouts, general feedback, have your goals changed?, do you feel you were being pushed hard enough/ not hard enough etc. This along with our already in place coaches 100 word summaries after each completed workout will enables to monitor you more closely.

#5 – Progress Days - measurements and body composition will be monitored every 2-4 weeks along with your nutrition journals. Please note measurements and body composition will not be monitored if you fail to produce a 2-4 week food journal. (preferably on the Monday and Tuesday of the week)

#6 – Results Weight Loss associated referral program (£100 cash per signed referral)

#7 – Additional Benefits
- Monthly online/print newsletter with tips, advice and what’s going on
- Advanced notifications of special discounts and members appreciation parties
- Access to the Results Weight Loss website, blog, weekly fitness tip newsletter. Set aside 15 minutes once per week to check out the new content that has been added to the site.

As always feel free to ask as many questions as you like at your training session or via email or even feel free to call us and if we are free we will take your call and questions. As soon as we are settled in to our own gym please feel free to pop even when you do not have a training session; you can always grab a shake or smoothie and unwind.

If you are serious about your success in 2010, then please take full advantage of the above. We really look forward to helping you in 2010.

Joe Hanney
